"Dr. Steve Jones of Total Health Chiropractic joined forces with patients and family members to clean up White’s pond.  Dr. Jones, an avid fisherman and a product of Waldwick, was alarmed at the amount of debris in the lake, on the banks, and the surrounding property. He asked his practice members from Waldwick and surrounding towns for help.   The clean-up was accomplished by 10 people. Unfortunately the weather was horrible and some of the crew members could not make it. There were two team members in kayaks working the far banks.  They filled their kayaks with broken chairs, buckets and all sorts of debris.  The majority of the clean-up group worked the side of the lake that is adjacent to the running/walking path.   Dr. Jones walked the edge of the lake in chest waders removing trash that was entwined in the shrubs that border the lake."

"The clean up encompassed the entire lake, the falls, and the banks leading to the bridge.  All in all 10 full bags of strictly plastic bags, bottle and glass were removed.  The day was a huge success. "
